I grew up in Tallahassee, Florida (go FSU Seminoles!) and moved to Birmingham to attend Samford University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Samford and then taught fourth grade at Edgewood for several years. From 2009-2011, I lived in central Mexico as a missionary and worked with impoverished children. Upon returning to Edgewood, I taught third grade for a year and then began teaching Enrichment in 2012. I also received my Master's in Gifted Education from Samford in December 2013.
I love Edgewood and the wonderful Homewood community. It is such a blessing to work with such dedicated colleagues, encouraging parents, and precious children!
