An Awesome Primary Source

During our 5th grade unit on prejudice, we've also been learning about the value of primary sources.  Last week, we had the opportunity to learn from a real-live primary source: Tre's grandfather!  He shared with us a first-hand account of his involvement with the civil rights movement and helped us understand prejudice better through several interesting activities.

The 4th grade classes recently enjoyed the opportunity to learn some German phrases from Clara's mom and Rika's mom.  

World War II Research Projects
