Paper Helicopters

4th grade constructed miniature helicopter propellors out of paper. We had fun testing them in the stairwell and seeing them whirl through the air!

Zippy Clippy

5th graders enjoyed our "Zippy Clippy" activity last week. They had to create a new use for a paper clip but could also combine the paper clip with other materials in their invention. Students utilized their creative thinking, engineering, and teamwork skills to come up with some great ideas!

Map Skills and the Met

The 3rd graders recently practiced their map and direction skills while learning more about The Metropolitan Museum of Art (the setting of our current novel). They used actual maps of the Met to answer various questions and then describe which areas they are most interested in visiting.
